Futuraskolan International School of  Stockholm offers an international education grades 0–9 for families who wish their children to experience a genuine international curriculum at an affordable cost. We offer an international education outside of the Swedish curriculum to those families who have a need for a transportable international education. This can include families who are temporarily in Sweden, who have returned to Sweden from abroad, who are planning to move abroad, any other reasons will have to be approved by the principal. We also offer a 0-9 bilingual programme using the Swedish national curriculum for those who don’t meet the international school criteria. Although we have a license for grades 0-9, this school year 2011-12 we have opened up grades 0-5; however our plans for grades 6-9 will be operative from the next academic year 2012-13.

In grades 1-5 we are using the Primary Years Programme Curriculum IPC. A learning focused curriculum, designed to help the children learn to enjoy what they learn.

In grades 6-9 we will be using the International Middle Years Programme Curriculum IMYC . The curriculum provides a balanced education that will equip young people for effective participation in the modern world.

For students with Swedish as their mother tongue Swedish A will be provided and for students new to the Swedish language, Swedish B will be offered.
